In 1932, Bogen’s Department Store opened in Greenwood, South Carolina, with Edward J. Bogen (1908-1977) as its president, Belle Daring Bogen (1908-1991) as its secretary, and Joseph B. Bogen (1875-1952) as its treasurer. Joseph Bogen retired in 1934.
