From 1892 to 1900, Fannie Herzog (birth/death undetermined) owned and operated a dry goods, hosiery, and underwear store in Charleston. The wife of Charleston dry goods merchant Henry Herzog (birth/death undetermined), Fannie employed her husband and a relative by the name of Abe Herzog. A likely member of the Herzog family, Hyman Lassen Herzog (1895-1902), is buried in Charleston’s Brith Sholom Magnolia Cemetery.
