From 1890 to 1891 and again from 1901 to 1904, Henry Herzog (birth/death undetermined) owned and operated a dry goods store in Charleston. Between 1892 and 1900, Herzog worked with his wife, Fannie Herzog (birth/death undetermined) at her dry goods, hosiery, and underwear store. A likely member of the Herzog family, Hyman Lassen Herzog (1895-1902), is buried in Charleston’s Brith Sholom Magnolia Cemetery.
