Before Samuel Richman (1881-1974) moved to Manning, South Carolina with his wife, Anna Lipsitz Richman (1883-1937), and children, he owned a grocery store on Bladen Street. A man robbed Richman Grocery and knocked Richman unconscious. Richman and his wife both immigrated to the United States from Wyszkow, Poland.
