After Simon Brown’s (1829-1906) death in 1906, his sons Isadore (1872-1957) and Herman (1876-1962) founded Simon Brown’s Sons. The brothers initially sold livestock and farm supplies, however, in the late-1910s and early-1920s, they also sold Chevrolet cars.
