FAMILIES: Fine

In 1953, David Fine (1914-1988) and his wife, Annie Orenstein Fine (born c.1915) moved to Rock Hill from New Orleans and founded children’s clothing, furniture, and toy store Tiny Town at 134 Caldwell Street. Soon after its founding, Tiny Town relocated to 100 East Main Street. Despite David’s experience as a children’s clothing, furniture, and toy salesman in New Orleans, Tiny Town went bankrupt in late 1956.
