Ben Fox (1913-2008) opened Fox Jewelers in 1941. After he retired in 1978, Fox sold his business to his daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Paul Isaac. In 1983, the Isaacs hired gemologist Mark Stokes to manage the business. In 1991, Mark and his wife, Terri, purchased Fox Jewelers and renamed it Bay Street Jewelers.
