On September 27, 1928, Edwin Warren Moise (1883-1945) and his brother, Francis Marion Moise Sr. (1893-1968), chartered the Carolina Sales Company with a $5,000 capitalization. Edwin served as company president and Francis served as its secretary and treasurer. Located in Sumter, South Carolina, the company dealt in automobiles and other machinery.
