Lewis S. Abrams (c.1885-1936) immigrated to the United States from Poland around 1900. Around 1921, he married Russian immigrant Anna Tobie and moved to Orangeburg, South Carolina. There, he opened a grocery store, which he likely operated until his death in 1936.
