On April 25, 1939, The State newspaper reported the incorporation of Mar-Jo Toys, Inc. In Camden, SC.1 Led by Theresa Kaplan Schlosburg (1902-1988) and her brother-in-law, Elihu B. Schlosburg (1908-1981), Mar-Jo Toys dealt in the manufacturing and sale of toys, dolls, and doll clothing. Mar-Jo Toys, Inc. remained in business through 1940.
