Abraham “Abe” Goldberg (b. 1877) opened People’s Clothing Store in the storefront that previously housed the Goldstein family’s Guarantee Clothing Company. He employed Joseph Goldstein (b. 1865) and his son, Louis Goldstein (b. 1890) as salesmen; after this store closed, Joseph joined the staff of A. Goldberg’s as a salesman.
