Around 1902, Camden merchants Harry Leon Schlosburg (1877-1940) and his uncle, Sol Liebman (originally spelled Libman) (1871-1937) partnered up to found general merchandise business Schlosburg & Liebman. The pair operated stores in Camden and Cheraw, SC. In 1903, Liebman and his growing family moved to Bristol, Virginia, signaling the end of the partnership.
