Silver Bros.

Orangeburg, SC

In 1920, an article in Orangeburg newspaper The Times and Democrat listed clothier Silver Bros. as one of the town’s Jewish businesses that donated to the creation of a “South Carolina Memorial.”1 Solomon Silver (c.1894-unknown), who came to South Carolina from New York, was likely the primary operator of Silver Bros.
