Aaron Suares (1856-1892), son of furniture craftsman Jacob Suares (1818-1894) and Isabelle Nathan Suares (1820-1897), was contracted as a buyer for Sumter, South Carolina clothier Ducker & Bultman in 1888. He made a trip to the northern states to purchase new items for the store. The following, year, Suares moved to Birmingham, Alabama. Tragically, he died there in 1892 from injuries he sustained after falling out of a second-story window.
